  2. I have chosen the cartoon number B.

First, I want to say that this cartoon tell us how is British people according to stereotypes. I don't agree with the picture, because when we went to London (for example), it was sunny and the time isn't always bad, although that it's during the most part of the year. Then, I don't know it with convition, but I think that the Royal Family is humble and polite. Also, I reckon British people are polite (and not punk, how the picture says). From the other hand, I agree about the bad food because when we went to London, we always ate in Mc Donald's becuase we thought that British food is very extrange and bad; ha, ha, ha. The guardsmen were always actives with so much concentration too... From my point of view, Irish people are very friendly. However, I don't know because I have never met an Irishman.
Finally, I want to say that stereotypes are bad because people make false ideas from other countries, cities or regions which isn't the way that people say they are.

    Goodbye class!

  3. Hello!!

I have chosen cartoon A. First, I want to say that this cartoon is telling us how is the people of some countries, not only of Great Britain. In the central focus, we can see to Adolf Hitler, a German´s dictator. It means, in my opinion, that nowadays Germany is the boss because of its good situation refering to economy and politics. On the left, we can see a Mexican man. Here, is representated with a big hat, a mostacho and a guitar. This is the stereotype from Mexico that all the people have. On the right, a Jewish man is appearing. In the photo, he has in his hand a bag of money. It wants to say that Jewish people is rich, and it is another stereotype. These are some examples of stereotypes

    Goodbye

  4. Hi everybody!

I'm going to choose cartoon B.
In this photo we can observe how people of different places and countries describe British people and also we can realize that all of them are not true because as I see it I can say that I have been in England and some of these aspects are not in the same way we see here. I have been twice in London; the first time I was there was in July 2011 and the weather was incredible. It wasn't cold but it wasn't hot at all; temperature was good. And the second time was in June 2013 when the weather wasn't bad although it rained a bit last day... So we can confirm that not always it's rainning in Britain. On the other hand, we met some guardsman and we made some photos with them and they were very friendly; so it also depends on the person.
For these reasons we can check our ideas in a better way and we can learn that we have to meet people before speaking of them.

    Goodbye class.

  5. Hi class!

    I've chosen cartoon A.
First of all, I want to say that I don't why Hitler is in the middle of the photo, I think this man doesn't belong to any stereotype, so I won't say anything more about him.
In the right, we see a Spaniard (I suppose it because of his clothes) dancing flamenco... Because of his expression, I guess he's a great dancer! Hahahahaha.
Next to him, we see a Mexican. I thing he belongs to a "tuna", because of his hat and his guitar. The only thing that misses here is a good dish of "nachos"... hahaha.
And then, we see a blonde girl (I don't know where's she from) and black guy, that shows us the stereotype which says that all dark-skined people play basketball fantastically.

    Good bye! :)

  6. Hello class!!

I'm going to choose pcture B, because I think I know more from English tan from the people in the other picture.
First, I'm going to say tha, before I went to London, I believed in these stereotypes too! But now, I know they are totally false, because nor the weather is as bad, nor the guardsman are so unfriendly, nor they are soberbe,... The only one I think it's true (at less for me) is the one from the food: they eat eggs at the morning and, for each restaurant we pass, they were eating potatoes puree! But I haven't try this food, so I can't say my opinión. To finish, I totally disagree with these picture because it represent English stereotypes, and all of we now these are totally false. For example, I'm Spanish and I definitely hate flamenco.

    Bye!

  7. Hello!

I´m going to choose picture B.

In this picture we can see some stereotypes about English people, I suposed that sometimes we thought that this stereotypes could be real, but when we meet or see how are they, we know that some of the stereotypes are false, because there are people from other country that have this qualities of stereotypes. For example, there are genderous people in all the world, not only in United Kingdom.
To me, stereotypes could be ideas about different people of other country.

    Bye

In this picture we can see how the perfect british must be, but, following this stereotypes. But, we know that not all the stereotypes are real because people have diferent stypes of live, they musn't follow a way of live because they live in this concret place, they can be like they want-

  9. Hello class!

    I've chosen picture A.

In this picture we can see that all countries have stereotypes because the people of each country have certain behabiour depending on their history or other things that we don't think that have sense in this topic, but they have, for example the weather or the timezone.
I think that we all have to acept stereotypes because if we have them is because along the time, we have made them of us.
In general they give a bad image of the country, but actually, they allow us to know how the people in the country is.However the picture says the opposite that i have said.
It is about people of different countries that didn't like stereotypes, but the think that I don't understand is that they have put the stereotype people of each country to represent them!

    Bye, see you soon!
